Day 1: Saigon arrival – Saigon city tour half day
We offer you our warmest welcome. Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for checking in. Enjoy the rest of day at your leisure.
Afternoon, Visit the Independence Palace, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace, a landmark designed by architect Ngo Viet Thu. Explore French colonial structures like Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office, then head to the War Remnants Museum, showcasing exhibits from the Indochina wars
Day 2: Long Tan – Nui Dat (B/L)
Depart from Saigon in the morning and enjoy scenic views on the way to Bà Rịa. Visit key Vietnam War sites such as the Long Tan Cross, Nui Dat, Horseshoe Hill, and Long Phuoc Tunnels, accompanied by in-depth historical commentary. Stop by the Ba Ria Orphanage before returning to Saigon in the late afternoon.
Day 3: Cu Chi Tunnel & Mekong Day Tour (B/L/D)
Morning visit to Cu Chi Tunnels with guided exploration of underground wartime shelters. After lunch, head to the Mekong Delta for a river cruise, local craft visits, and a scenic xe lôi or bike ride through villages and rice fields. Return to Saigon in the evening. Dinner included.
Day 4: Saigon – Da Nang / Marble Moutains & Hoian walking tour (B/L)
Fly from Saigon to Da Nang. Upon arrival, visit Marble Mountain, a cluster of five spiritual limestone hills named after the five elements. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant before heading to your hotel in Hoi An. In the afternoon, take a guided walking tour of the UNESCO-listed Ancient Town, exploring historic homes, family chapels, Sa Huynh Museum, and the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge. End the day with a visit to a local tailor for a custom clothing experience.
Day 5: Hoian Countryside Bike Tour & Lantern making workshop (B/L)
Start your day with a scenic bike ride along the Thu Bon River to a local fishing village. Pass through rice fields, palm forests, and peaceful countryside paths. Enjoy a basket boat ride in the Coconut Water Palm Forest, then visit Tra Que organic herb village to learn traditional farming methods. Savor a home-cooked lunch with fresh garden produce. In the afternoon, join a hands-on lantern-making workshop before cycling back to town.
Day 6: Kayaking on Thu Bon River (B/L)
Start your morning with a guided kayaking trip through the peaceful waterways of the Thu Bon River. Paddle through palm forests and hidden channels (route may vary based on tide). After the adventure, return to the hotel for a refreshing shower, followed by a delicious local Banh Mi lunch.
Day 7: Hoian – Hue – Hue city tour half day by bike (B/L/D)
Depart from Danang for a 160km journey to Hue, passing by the stunning Lang Co Beach and the dramatic Hai Van Pass. Upon arrival, check in and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, explore Hue’s rural charm by bicycle. Visit Thuy Thanh village and the historic Thanh Toan Bridge, ride through rice paddies and local markets, and discover traditional life at the Agriculture Museum. Continue cycling to the UNESCO-listed Royal Citadel, the iconic heart of Hue’s imperial past. End the day with dinner at a local restaurant before returning to your hotel.
Day 8: Vinh Moc Tunnel & Khe Sanh Combat Base – Quang Binh (B/L/D)
Travel from Hue northward, visiting key Vietnam War landmarks like Quang Tri Citadel, Rockpile, and Khe Sanh Combat Base. After lunch in Dong Ha, explore the Hien Luong Bridge at the DMZ and the Vinh Moc Tunnels. Transfer to Dong Hoi for dinner and overnight.
Day 9: Visit Paradise Cave – Chay River – Paradise Cave (B/L)

Day 10: Quang Binh – Hanoi – Ninh Binh (B)
Our car will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival in Hanoi, our driver will meet you and transfer you straight to your hotel in Ninh Binh for check-in and relaxation.
Day 11: Hoa Lu – Tam Coc – Hanoi (B/L)
Start the day with a scenic sampan boat trip through Tam Coc’s stunning limestone caves and peaceful countryside. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, then cycle through nearby villages, rice fields, and waterways, meeting locals along the way. Return to Hanoi by 3:00 PM for hotel check-in and rest.
Day 12: School tour & Hanoi city tour (B/L/D)
Today, visit the Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation for 3–4 hours before returning to the hotel to rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a cyclo tour of Hanoi’s Old Quarter followed by a Water Puppet Show. Then, experience a guided street food tasting featuring iconic dishes such as Bánh Xèo (crispy pancakes), Phở (noodle soup), and Bún Chả (grilled pork with noodles), while learning about the rich culinary traditions of Hanoi.
Day 13: Departure (B)
Enjoy your breakfast before heading to the airport for departure flights.

Trip Notes:
– Travelers are highly recommended to purchase Travel Insurance upon commitment of the booking in case of force majeure. Travel Insurance covers such costs as emergency and medical evacuation, hospital fees, property loss, etc. which could possibly happen during the trip.
– Rooms at hotels are available only from 1400 on arrival day till 1200 on departure date. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out is desired.
– The itinerary may subject to change depending on weather conditions and the local situation.
– Reservations during peak times such as Christmas, New Year, Vietnamese Lunar New Year, National Holidays may be subject to supplementary charges.
– If any proposed service is not available at the time of booking, we will try to find alternative and similar option and minimize changes to the program.

Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest, must be covered by the clients. Vietnam Travel and Cruise will make every effort to recoup any losses from the service providers.

– A Deposit of AUD$300 per person is required upon confirmation of your booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
– The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. If you fail to pay by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.
– If you make a booking less than 30 days prior to departure, full payment is due within 48 hours.
Cancellation: Any cancellations must be made in witting.
– Cancellation fees apply to all cancelled reservations. The fee is determined by the date written cancellation received by Vietnam Travel and Cruise.
– Cancellation more than 30 days – Loss of deposit
– Cancellation at 30 or less days – 100% of total booking cost

Claims and refunds for unused services
No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the client.
