Day 1: Hanoi arrival
We offer you our warmest welcome. Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for checking in. Enjoy the rest of day at your leisure.
Day 2: Hanoi vespa tour (B/L)
Meet your guide at your Old Quarter hotel for a quick briefing before exploring Hanoi by vintage Vespa. Discover hidden alleys, local markets, and key landmarks like Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Tran Quoc Pagoda, Temple of Literature, and Long Bien Bridge. End with a tasty Vietnamese meal at Hidden Gem Cafe. Vegetarian and vegan options available.
Day 3: Hanoi – Ha Long Bay by shuttle bus (B/L/D)
Escape the hustle of the city and embark on an unforgettable two-day cruise through the breathtaking waters of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Traveling via the new expressway, you’ll reach Hai Phong in just two hours before boarding your cruise. Sail through stunning limestone islands, enjoy fresh seafood meals on board, and take part in activities like kayaking, swimming, and a sunset cooking class. Spend the night on the calm waters of the bay for a truly memorable experience.
Day 4: Halong Bay – Hanoi by shuttle bus (B/L)
Take a local boat to explore the area around Sang Toi Cave. After check-out, return to the pier at the south of the bay and disembark at Got Ferry. We transfer you back to your hotel in Hanoi.
Day 5: Hanoi – Mai Chau (homestay) (B/L/D)
Depart from Hanoi on a scenic 3.5-hour drive to Mai Chau, passing the beautiful Cun Pass. Discover a peaceful valley home to ethnic minorities living in stilt houses. Enjoy free time to explore the village, then unwind with a local dinner and rice wine in the evening.
Day 6: Mai Chau (B/L/D)
After breakfast, take a gentle 3-hour trek through Mai Chau Valley, visiting Muong and Thai villages. Enjoy a picnic lunch and browse local handicrafts. In the afternoon, transfer to Hoa Binh and check in at Vy Resort for a relaxing evening before heading back to Hanoi.
Day 7: Mai Chau – Hanoi – Hue (B/L)
After check-out, enjoy a relaxing drive back to Hanoi. You’ll be transferred to the airport for your flight to Hue. Upon arrival, our driver will take you to your hotel for check-in and some well-deserved rest.
Day 8: Hue City Tour (B/L)
Today, explore the UNESCO-listed Hue Monument Complex. Start with a boat ride on the Perfume River to visit the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue by car to the royal tombs of Minh Mang and Khai Dinh, each reflecting the unique legacy of its emperor. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Hue Royal Citadel and Forbidden Purple City, rich in imperial history. End the day at Dong Ba Market before returning to your hotel around 16:30.
Day 9: Hue – Hoi An (B)
At 09:00, after breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up for a scenic 160km journey from Hue to Da Nang, passing the dramatic Hai Van Pass and Lang Co. Upon arrival, transfer to Hoi An for hotel check-in and relaxation in this charming ancient town.
Day 10: Hoian walking tour (B/L)
Start your day with a guided walk through Hoi An Ancient Town, exploring its blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese architecture. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient houses, and artisan shops. Enjoy lunch with local dishes like Cao Lau or Mi Quang.
Day 11: Hoian cooking class (B/L)
Join a boat trip to a small island, visit local gardens, and learn to make rice paper and rice milk. Prepare 4 dishes: grilled pork, papaya salad, Banh Xeo, and fish. Enjoy a recipe book at the end.
Day 12: Cycling to Cam Thanh & Tra Que Village (B/L)
Cycle to Cam Thanh Village for a basket boat ride through tranquil canals, then head to Tra Que Vegetable Village for a hands-on farming experience. After a relaxing foot massage, learn to make Banh Xeo and enjoy your creation for lunch. Finish with a bike ride back to your hotel, full of unforgettable experiences.
Day 13: Hoi An – Nha Trang by train (B)
After having breakfast, transfer to the train station and catch the day train to Nha Trang. Pickup upon arrival and then transfer to your hotel for checking in. Enjoy this beautiful seaside city as at your will.
Day 14: Nha Trang Island & Snorkeling tour (B/L)
Depart from your hotel to Cau Da Port. Explore Tri Nguyen Aquarium, snorkel at Mun Island, and relax or swim at nearby islands like Mot, Tranh, or Mini Beach. Enjoy a seafood lunch and visit a fishing village before returning.
Day 15: Nha Trang Free day (B)
Indulge in the sun-sea-sand Nha Trang at your own terms.
Day 16: Nha Trang – Saigon by flight (B)
Our car will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.
Day 17: Sai Gon City tour – Cu Chi Tunnel (B/L)
Visit Cu Chi Tunnels, explore the underground network, and enjoy tea & cassava. Optional shooting experience. After lunch, return to Saigon to see the Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and the War Remnants Museum.
Day 18: Saigon – Bassac Cruise 2D1N (B/L/D)
Our driver takes you to Can Tho to board the Bassac Cruise. After check-in and a welcome drink, enjoy lunch as the boat cruises along the Hau River.
In the afternoon, visit a local village or enjoy a short bike ride. Return for sunset views and dinner on board. The boat anchors on the Mang Thit River for the night.
Day 19: Bassac Cruise – Saigon (B/L)
The boat cruises to Cai Be early in the morning. After breakfast, enjoy a peaceful small boat ride through canals and visit local handicraft workshops. Disembark around mid-morning and transfer back to Saigon by car.
Day 20: Departure (B)
Enjoy your breakfast before heading to the airport for departure flights.

Trip Notes:
– Travelers are highly recommended to purchase Travel Insurance upon commitment of the booking in case of force majeure. Travel Insurance covers such costs as emergency and medical evacuation, hospital fees, property loss, etc. which could possibly happen during the trip.
– Rooms at hotels are available only from 1400 on arrival day till 1200 on departure date. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out is desired.
– The itinerary may subject to change depending on weather conditions and the local situation.
– Reservations during peak times such as Christmas, New Year, Vietnamese Lunar New Year, National Holidays may be subject to supplementary charges.
– If any proposed service is not available at the time of booking, we will try to find alternative and similar option and minimize changes to the program.

– Vietnam Travel and Cruise is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest, must be covered by the clients. Vietnam Travel and Cruise will make every effort to recoup any losses from the service providers.

– A Deposit of AUD$300 per person is required upon confirmation of your booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
– The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. If you fail to pay by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.
– If you make a booking less than 30 days prior to departure, full payment is due within 48 hours.
Cancellation: Any cancellations must be made in witting.
– Cancellation fees apply to all cancelled reservations. The fee is determined by the date written cancellation received by Vietnam Travel and Cruise.
– Cancellation more than 30 days – Loss of deposit
– Cancellation at 30 or less days – 100% of total booking cost

Claims and refunds for unused services
No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the client.
