    Day 1: Hanoi arrival 

    We offer you our warmest welcome. Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for checking in. Enjoy the rest of day at your leisure.

    Day 2: Hanoi city tour – Sapa by train (B/L)

    At 8:00 AM, start your day visiting the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum, followed by the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. Explore the Temple of Literature, Vietnam’s first university, then enjoy lunch at a local spot. In the afternoon, visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology before taking a cyclo ride through Hanoi’s vibrant Old Quarter. Return to your hotel to relax after a full day of culture and history. In the evening, transfer to the train station for your overnight journey to Sapa.

    Day 3: Explore Ta Van (B/L/D)

    At 5:00 AM, meet your guide and transfer to Sapa for breakfast and rest. At 9:00 AM, start a walking tour to Cat Cat village, visit the waterfall and hydroelectric station, and enjoy the scenic walk from Lao Chai (Black Hmong) to Ta Van (Giay) village. Overnight at a homestay.

    Day 4: Tavan – Giang Ta Chai – Supan – Hanoi by shared – limousine (B/L)

    After breakfast, trek through the bamboo forest in Hoang Lien National Park. Enjoy lunch, then head to Su Pan village before returning to Sapa. At 2:00 PM, take a 4-5 hour transfer back to Hanoi. Arrive, check in to your hotel, and relax after the journey

    Day 5: Travel to Ha Long Bay (B/L/D)

    Escape the hustle of the city and embark on an unforgettable two-day cruise through the breathtaking waters of Ha Long Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Traveling via the new expressway, you’ll reach Hai Phong in just two hours before boarding your cruise. Sail through stunning limestone islands, enjoy fresh seafood meals on board, and take part in activities like kayaking, swimming, and a sunset cooking class. Spend the night on the calm waters of the bay for a truly memorable experience.

    Day 6: Halong Bay (B/L/D) 

    Be transferred to a day boat to visit Viet Hai village. You’ll take a bicycle ride along the village path, passing through rainforests and a dark tunnel. Enjoy the stunning scenery of rice fields along the way. Stop at the village to relax and visit an ancient local house made from straw, mud, and bamboo. You’ll have a chance to experience local life in a peaceful valley. Continue to Lan Ha Bay, where you’ll have free time for kayaking and swimming.

    Day 7: Fly to Hue (B/L) 

    Take a local boat to explore the area around Sang Toi Cave. After check-out, return to the pier at the south of the bay and disembark at Got Ferry. Transfer back to Hanoi, then catch a flight to Hue. Upon arrival, you’ll be taken to your hotel for check-in and relaxation.

    Day 8: Hue city tour (B/L) 

    Today, explore the UNESCO-listed Hue Monument Complex. Start with a boat ride on the Perfume River to visit the iconic Thien Mu Pagoda. Continue by car to the royal tombs of Minh Mang and Khai Dinh, each reflecting the unique legacy of its emperor. After lunch at a local restaurant, visit the Hue Royal Citadel and Forbidden Purple City, rich in imperial history. End the day at Dong Ba Market before returning to your hotel around 16:30.

    Day 9: Travel to Hoian (B)

    At 09:00, after breakfast, your guide and driver will pick you up for a scenic 160km journey from Hue to Da Nang, passing the dramatic Hai Van Pass and Lang Co. Upon arrival, transfer to Hoi An for hotel check-in and relaxation in this charming ancient town.

    Day 10: Hoian walking tour (B/L)

    My Start your day with a guided walk through Hoi An Ancient Town, exploring its blend of Vietnamese, Chinese, and Japanese architecture. Visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, ancient houses, and artisan shops. Enjoy lunch with local dishes like Cao Lau or Mi Quang.

    Day 11: Bana Hills – Golden Bridge tour (B/L)

    Our guide and driver will take you to Ba Na Hills. Ride the world’s longest cable car with scenic views of Vong Nguyet Hills, Linh Ung Pagoda, and more. After lunch, visit the Golden Bridge supported by giant hands and explore the Fantasy Park. Return to your hotel in the afternoon.

    Day 12: Hoian cooking class (B/L)

    Join a boat trip to a small island, visit local gardens, and learn to make rice paper and rice milk. Prepare 4 dishes: grilled pork, papaya salad, Banh Xeo, and fish. Enjoy a recipe book at the end.

    Day 13: Fly to Saigon (B)

    Our car will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. 

    Day 14: Cu Chi tunnels & Saigon street food on scooter (B/L/D)

    1.5-hour drive to Cu Chi Tunnels. Upon arrival, you’ll watch an introductory video about the tunnels’ construction and history. Then, explore the tunnel system, including living spaces, kitchens, and military areas like storage and command centers. See hidden traps and security features. Afterward, enjoy tea and cassava, followed by an optional shooting experience. Lunch will be at a local restaurant. Late afternoon, your Saigon Street Food Tour by Scooter will begin. Explore the vibrant streets of the city, sample delicious local dishes, and experience the lively nightlife of Ho Chi Minh City.

    Day 15: Explore Vinh Long (B/L)

    Say goodbye to Saigon as we head to Can Tho, a Southern province known for its lush orchards. Enjoy a boat trip, visit fruit orchards, savor fresh fruits with traditional music, and experience local life and cuisine.

    Day 16: Cai Rang – Phong Dien Floating market (B/L)

    Visit Phong Dien and Cai Rang floating markets to experience everyday life along the Mekong River. Explore a traditional rice noodle village and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. Then transfer to Chau Doc for overnight stay.

    Day 17: Boat to Phnom Penh (B)

    Pickup from hotel and transfer to boat harbor for your journey to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Our car will transfer you to the hotel for check-in and relaxation.

    Day 18: Phnom Penh city tour (B/L)

    After breakfast, visit Phnom Penh’s highlights: the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda with its jeweled Buddha statues, and the National Museum housing ancient Khmer art. Continue to the lively Russian Market.

    In the afternoon, visits to the Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum (S-21) and the Killing Fields of Choeung Ek.

    Day 19: Travel to Siem Reap (B/D)

    Morning, road transfer from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Afternoon, visit Ta Prohm and Preah Khan temple. Evening, enjoy buffet dinner and watch Khmer Traditional Dance Show at a local restaurant. 

    Day 20: Angkor temple tour (B/L)

    Begin at 5:00 AM with a stunning sunrise at Angkor Wat. Return for breakfast and a short rest. Continue to Angkor Thom to explore Bayon, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Royal Palace, and the Elephant & Leper King Terraces.

    Day 21: Kampong Khleng (B/L)

    After breakfast, enjoy a boat trip to Kompong Khleang, a peaceful stilted village 55 km from Siem Reap. Discover floating houses, flooded forests, and local life in this authentic fishing community.

    Day 22: Fly to Laos (B)

    Our car will pick you up and transfer you to the airport for your flight to Luang Prabang. Upon arrival in Luang Prabang, our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for check-in and relaxation. 

    Day 23: Luang Prabang city (B/L)

    Rise early to see the Takbat alms ceremony by Luang Prabang monks. After breakfast, visit the National Museum and key pagodas: Wat Xiengthong, Wat Visoun, Wat Aham, and Wat Thatluang. End the day with sunset from Phu Si Hill.

    Day 24: Pak Ou cave (B/L)

    After breakfast, cruise upstream on the Mekong River to explore the Pak Ou Caves, home to hundreds of Buddha statues. On the return, visit a local handicraft village.

    Day 25: Elephant Village (B/L)

    Enjoy a morning at Elephant Village with an elephant ride and sightseeing. Then visit the beautiful Khuang Si Waterfall. Spend the rest of the day at your leisure in Luang Prabang.

    Day 26: Xieng Khouang (B/L)

    After breakfast, depart for Xieng Khouang to explore the Plain of Jars, an impressive archaeological site with hundreds of large stone jars scattered across the plateau. Then visit nearby hill tribe villages in the ancient town of Muang Khoun.

    Day 27: Vang Vieng (B/L)

    Continue to Vang Vieng and check in at your hotel. Enjoy tubing on the Nam Song River, admire the town’s stunning views, or explore nearby caves. You can also visit Tham Jang Cave and take a boat trip on the river.

    Day 28: Discover Vientiane (B/L)

    Drive to Vientiane, Laos’ charming capital. Explore Wat Sisaket, the oldest temple, and Wat Phra Keo, known for its thousands of miniature Buddha statues. Visit the iconic That Luang Stupa and the impressive Patuxay Monument.

    Day 29: Vientiane free day (B) 

    Free day at your leisure.

    Day 30: Departure (B)

    Enjoy your breakfast before heading to the airport for departure flights.

    Trip Notes:

    – Travelers are highly recommended to purchase Travel Insurance upon commitment of the booking in case of force majeure. Travel Insurance covers such costs as emergency and medical evacuation, hospital fees, property loss, etc. which could possibly happen during the trip.

    – Rooms at hotels are available only from 1400 on arrival day till 1200 on departure date. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out is desired.

    – The itinerary may subject to change depending on weather conditions and the local situation.

    – Reservations during peak times such as Christmas, New Year, Vietnamese Lunar New Year, National Holidays may be subject to supplementary charges.

    – If any proposed service is not available at the time of booking, we will try to find alternative and similar option and minimize changes to the program.

Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest, must be covered by the clients.  Vietnam Travel and Cruise will make every effort to recoup any losses from the service providers.

    – A Deposit of AUD$300 per person is required upon confirmation of your booking. This deposit is non-refundable.

    – The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. If you fail to pay by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.

    If you make a booking less than 30 days prior to departure, full payment is due within 48 hours.

    Cancellation: Any cancellations must be made in witting.

    – Cancellation fees apply to all cancelled reservations. The fee is determined by the date written cancellation received by Vietnam Travel and Cruise.

    – Cancellation more than 30 days – Loss of deposit

    – Cancellation at 30 or less days – 100% of total booking cost

    No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the client.
