    Day 1: Hanoi arrival

    We offer you our warmest welcome. Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for checking in. Enjoy the rest of day at your leisure.

    Day 2: Hanoi – Ba Be Lake (200 km) (B/L/D)

    Leaving Hanoi, we travel on paved roads into the mountains. After lunch en route, we continue on a smaller road to Ba Be Lake National Park—an impressive lake nestled among jungle-covered peaks. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay with a local Tay hill-tribe family. 

    Day 3: Ba Be – Bao Lac (150 km) (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, we load the bikes onto boats and cruise across Ba Be Lake and up the Nang River, passing through scenic caves. Once back on the road, we ride north through mountains, hill-tribe villages, forests, and rivers toward Bao Lac—the gateway to the Ha Giang Plateau. Along the way, we’ll stop for photos and visit local villages or markets. 

    Day 4: Bao Lac – Dong Van (120 km) (B/L/D)

    Depart Bao Lac, ride along the Chinese border and take dirt tracks up to the Ha Giang Plateau. Cross the Ngo Que River by bamboo raft, pass hill-tribe villages and rugged landscapes. After lunch in Meo Vac, ride over the stunning Ma Pi Leng Pass and arrive in Dong Van for overnight. 

    Day 5: Dong Van – Ha Giang (150 km) (B/L/D)

    Early start today and we head through the mountains, and hill-tribe villages we can take time  for a snack and enjoy the views into China, Lunch en route, on dirt tracks that traverse the border region, after lunch we ride more amazing roads through the rocky landscape on our way down to Ha Giang Town, Overnight in family home-stay outside of town.

    Day 6: Ha Giang – Pan Hou Resort (150 km) (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, we travel through terraced mountains, meeting locals and enjoying the scenery. After lunch, stop in Xin Man town for a refreshment before a rough 2-hour mountain drive over the pass into Xin Man valley. Here, the Flower H’mong hill-tribe, known for their colorful attire, live and work. Enjoy stunning views and weekend markets before overnight in Xin Man town.

    Day 7: Pan Hou – Xin Man (150 km) (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, travel through terraced mountains to Xin Man town for a break. Then cross a mountain pass into Xin Man valley, home to the colorful Flower H’mong hill-tribe. Enjoy views and markets before overnight in Xin Man. 

    Day 8: Xin Man – Lao Cai – Hanoi (150 km) (B/L/D)

    After breakfast, ride through mountains to Bac Ha town, stop for lunch, then continue downhill to Lao Cai. Load bikes on the overnight train to Hanoi (A/C soft sleeper). Arrive Hanoi at 6:00am, collect bikes, return to garage, and transfer to your hotel.=

    Day 9: Departure (B)
    Enjoy your breakfast before heading to the airport for departure flights.

    Trip Notes:

    – Travelers are highly recommended to purchase Travel Insurance upon commitment of the booking in case of force majeure. Travel Insurance covers such costs as emergency and medical evacuation, hospital fees, property loss, etc. which could possibly happen during the trip.

    – Rooms at hotels are available only from 1400 on arrival day till 1200 on departure date. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out is desired.

    – The itinerary may subject to change depending on weather conditions and the local situation.

    – Reservations during peak times such as Christmas, New Year, Vietnamese Lunar New Year, National Holidays may be subject to supplementary charges.

    – If any proposed service is not available at the time of booking, we will try to find alternative and similar option and minimize changes to the program.

    – Domestic flights may subject to change or reschedule before departure date

    – Vietnam Travel and Cruise is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest, must be covered by the clients.  Vietnam Travel and Cruise will make every effort to recoup any losses from the service providers.

    Booking condition:

    Payment:

    – A Deposit of AUD$300 per person is required upon confirmation of your booking. This deposit is non-refundable.

    – The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. If you fail to pay by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.

    If you make a booking less than 30 days prior to departure, full payment is due within 48 hours.

    Cancellation: Any cancellations must be made in witting.

    – Cancellation fees apply to all cancelled reservations. The fee is determined by the date written cancellation received by Vietnam Travel and Cruise.

    – Cancellation more than 30 days – Loss of deposit

    – Cancellation at 30 or less days – 100% of total booking cost

    Special conditions: Depending on airlines, hotels, cruises’ cancellation policies, the above conditions may be modified.

    Claims and refunds for unused services

    No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the client.
