Day 1: Saigon arrival
We offer you our warmest welcome. Our tour guide will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for checking in. Enjoy the rest of day at your leisure.
Day 2: Saigon city tour & jeep tour (B/L/D)
Begin with a city tour of Saigon’s landmarks: Independence Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, Central Post Office, and War Remnants Museum. After lunch, enjoy a Jeep tour exploring the vibrant nightlife, tasting local cuisine, and ending with drinks at a rooftop bar with panoramic views.
Day 3: Saigon – My Tho – Cai Be (B/L/D)
The 8D7N itinerary will be different for each cruise
Travel 70 kilometers southwards by land to My Tho where we embark our luxury floating home for the upcoming journey along the Might Mekong. Do the sightseeing during your cruise trip. We drop anchor mid-stream and stay overnight near Cai Be.
Day 4: Cai Be – Sa Dec – Tan Chau (B/L/D)
The morning tour takes you to Cai Be. We go on-shore to visit a workshop where we learn about the manufacturing of rice paste, rice paper, rice cookies or rice wine. In the afternoon, we reach the area of Sa Dec. We embark a traditional sampan and take a tour towards Binh Thanh Island and moor mid-stream near Tan Chau.
Day 5: Tan Chau – Border crossing – Phnom Penh (B/L/D)
We board our local boat and cruise past floating houses and finally reach a floating fish farm. We sail towards the Vietnamese-Cambodian border. Dinner is served before we arrive in the Cambodia’s capital in the evening. The boat docks at the pier of Phnom Penh.
Day 6: Arrive to Phnom Penh (B/L/D)
We visit the Killing Fields at the outskirts of the city and after the centrally located prison “S21”. Our exploration of Phnom Penh focuses afterwards on the fascinating cultural heritage of Phnom Penh. The golden edifice of the Royal Palace with its Silver Pagoda and the exceptional Khmer crafts at the National Museum are the afternoon highlights.
Day 7: Depart to Kampong Cham (B/L/D)
We depart before the break of dawn from Phnom Penh towards the small Angkor Ban village up the Mekong River. Then we cruise further up the Mekong to visit a local school to understand more about the education of the young Cambodian generation. We continue the travel by road to the enchanting pre-Angkorian temple of Wat Hanchey (7th century). The boat moors mid-river near Kampong Cham.
Day 8: Travel to Kampong Chhnang (B/L/D)
We sail downstream the Mekong during breakfast time and stop at the Island of Koh Oknha Tey. The cruiser continues its journey, passing the confluence of Mekong and Tonle River to visit Kampong Tralach. The boat find its anchor spot later in the Tonle River near Kampong Chhnang allowing you to observe the interesting and close-by life on shore
Day 9: Visit Tonle Sap (B/L/D)
We take a local boat to the shore. With mini buses we head to a rural village nearby and go on a walking tour. Before returning to the boat we explore the local floating villages and wetlands of the region.
Day 10: Arrive to Siem Reap (B/L)
Our cruise comes to an end. We prepare to disembark the ship and take a local boat to the shore, passing a vast floating community.
Around 9 o’clock, we arrive at the Siem Reap pier and bring you back by a short transfer to the drop-off point in the city center.
Day 11: Explore Angkor Wat (B/L)
Begin at 5:00 AM with a stunning sunrise at Angkor Wat. Return for breakfast and a short rest. Continue to Angkor Thom to explore Bayon, Baphuon, Phimeanakas, the Royal Palace, and the Elephant & Leper King Terraces.
Day 12: Siem Reap Quad bike tour (B/L)
Discover Siem Reap’s countryside by Quad Bike, passing villages, schools, stilt houses, and hidden ancient temples. Experience authentic Khmer life beyond the temples, guided by a passionate local team committed to sharing true Cambodian hospitality.
Day 13: Departure (B)
Enjoy your breakfast before heading to the airport for departure flights.

Trip Notes:
– Travelers are highly recommended to purchase Travel Insurance upon commitment of the booking in case of force majeure. Travel Insurance covers such costs as emergency and medical evacuation, hospital fees, property loss, etc. which could possibly happen during the trip.
– Rooms at hotels are available only from 1400 on arrival day till 1200 on departure date. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out is desired.
– The itinerary may subject to change depending on weather conditions and the local situation.
– Reservations during peak times such as Christmas, New Year, Vietnamese Lunar New Year, National Holidays may be subject to supplementary charges.
– If any proposed service is not available at the time of booking, we will try to find alternative and similar option and minimize changes to the program.
– Domestic flights may subject to change or reschedule before departure date
– Vietnam Travel and Cruise is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest, must be covered by the clients. Vietnam Travel and Cruise will make every effort to recoup any losses from the service providers.

– A Deposit of AUD$300 per person is required upon confirmation of your booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
– The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. If you fail to pay by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.
– If you make a booking less than 30 days prior to departure, full payment is due within 48 hours.
Cancellation: Any cancellations must be made in witting.
– Cancellation fees apply to all cancelled reservations. The fee is determined by the date written cancellation received by Vietnam Travel and Cruise.
– Cancellation more than 30 days – Loss of deposit
– Cancellation at 30 or less days – 100% of total booking cost

Claims and refunds for unused services
No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the client.
