Day 1 Arrival – Luang Prabang – No guide
We offer you our warmest welcome. Our driver will pick you up at the airport and transfer you to the hotel for checking in. Enjoy the rest of day at your leisure.
Day 2 Luang Prabang – City tour (B)
After breakfast, visit Luang Prabang’s Royal Palace Museum and temples including Wat Xiengthong and Wat Visoun. Explore silk weaving at Ock Pop Tok Centre and try a paper stenciling class at Yen Sabai. Enjoy sunset from Mount Phousi, then browse the Night Market for local handicrafts.
Day 3 Luang Prabang – Pak Ou – Khuang Si Waterfall (B)
This morning, visit Phousi Market to see local life and products. Then enjoy a refreshing swim and walk at Khouangsi Waterfall, including a visit to the Bear Sanctuary. In the afternoon, cruise the Mekong to Pak Ou Caves, famous for thousands of Buddha statues. Visit villages known for jute paper and hand weaving before taking the high-speed train to Vang Vieng.
Day 4 Vang Vieng – Cyling Loop (B,L)
We start cycling from Vang Vieng across rice fields to Dok Ngern Cave, exploring its stunning stalactites and stalagmites. Then, we ride through the narrow Houay San valley to Pha Deng Cliff for a photo stop. Continuing along the Nam Kouang River, we reach the Blue Lagoon to relax and swim. Finally, we cycle back to Vang Vieng in time for a beautiful sunset.
Day 5 Vang Vieng – Vientiane (B)
This morning, walk the local market before a boat trip on the Nam Song River, stopping at Tham Jang Cave. In the afternoon, take the high-speed train to Vientiane and transfer to your hotel. Evening free to enjoy drinks by the Mekong, visit the Night Market, and explore the nightlife.
Day 6 Vientiane (B)
This morning, visit Vientiane’s key temples: Wat Sisaket, Wat Prakeo, and That Luang Stupa, with a photo stop at Patuxay Monument. In the afternoon, explore Buddha Park’s unique sculptures. Evening free for the Night Market and local dining.
Day 7: Vientiane – flight to Pakse – Tad Lo (B)
Arriving in Pakse, we visit the cool Bolevan Plateau and its famous waterfalls: Tad Fan’s twin falls and Tad Ngeuan’s clear pools with a coffee plantation. See local crops like coffee and tea along the way. Then, explore Tad Lo’s waterfall and nearby ethnic villages before overnight stay.
Day 08 : Tad Lo – Champassack – Khong Islands (B)
After breakfast, we descend to Champasak and the 4000 Islands. Passing Pakse, we visit Wat Phu, a stunning pre-Angkorian mountain temple. Then, continue by road to Don Khong, the largest island in the scenic Mekong river region.
Day 9 : Khong Island – Khone Island – Pakse (B)
After breakfast, we explore the 4000 Islands by boat, visiting the stunning Liphi Waterfall, which marks the Laos-Cambodia border. Then, we drive to Khone Phapheng, Southeast Asia’s largest waterfall, known as the ‘Niagara of the East.’ Late afternoon, we return to Pakse for an overnight stay.
Day 10: Pakse – Departure (B) – No guide
Enjoy your breakfast before heading to the airport for departure flights.

Trip Notes:
– Travelers are highly recommended to purchase Travel Insurance upon commitment of the booking in case of force majeure. Travel Insurance covers such costs as emergency and medical evacuation, hospital fees, property loss, etc. which could possibly happen during the trip.
– Rooms at hotels are available only from 1400 on arrival day till 1200 on departure date. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out is desired.
– The itinerary may subject to change depending on weather conditions and the local situation.
– Reservations during peak times such as Christmas, New Year, Vietnamese Lunar New Year, National Holidays may be subject to supplementary charges.
– If any proposed service is not available at the time of booking, we will try to find alternative and similar option and minimize changes to the program.

– Vietnam Travel and Cruise is not responsible for any injury, loss, death, inconvenience, delay or damage to personal property in connection with the provision of any goods or services whether resulting from but not limited to acts of God or force majeure, illness, disease, acts of war, civil unrest, insurrection or revolt, animals, strikes or other labor activities, criminal or terrorist activities of any kind, overbooking or downgrading of services, food poisoning, mechanical or other failure of aircraft or other means of transportation or for failure of any transportation mechanism to arrive or depart on time. Additional expenses incurred due to delays, accidents, natural disaster, political actions and unrest, must be covered by the clients. Vietnam Travel and Cruise will make every effort to recoup any losses from the service providers.

Payment:
– A Deposit of AUD$300 per person is required upon confirmation of your booking. This deposit is non-refundable.
– The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. If you fail to pay by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.
– If you make a booking less than 30 days prior to departure, full payment is due within 48 hours.
Cancellation: Any cancellations must be made in witting.
– Cancellation fees apply to all cancelled reservations. The fee is determined by the date written cancellation received by Vietnam Travel and Cruise.
– Cancellation more than 30 days – Loss of deposit
– Cancellation at 30 or less days – 100% of total booking cost
Special conditions: Depending on airlines, hotels, cruises’ cancellation policies, the above conditions may be modified.
Claims and refunds for unused services
No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the client.
