Day 1: Yangon arrival and sightseeing (By car)
Arrive at Yangon International Airport, welcome by our tour guide. On the way visit to Lawka Chanthar ArbayarLaba Muni Buddha Image (Kyauktawgyi) and Royal White Elephant camp. Check in to hotel and Yangon sightseeing; visit to Chaukhtatgyi (Reclining Buddha) Pagoda colossal reclining Buddha, Karaweik Hall Royal barge on the Royal lake for photo stop, Yangon’s city center featuring Sule Pagoda at city center and colonial building, drive in downtown visit China Town with the fruit market and Yangon’s city center covering World famous Shwedagon Pagoda. Witness the golden dome light up sunshine at the sunset. Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 2: Yangon – Putao (By Flight & Car) (B)
Early morning transfer to airport and fly to Putao. Just as you arrive at the Putao airport, your guide will greet and transfer you to Putao Guest house. After refreshment, your guide will take you to explore the scenic beauty of Putao, formally known as Fort Hertz and its ethnic groups’ living style by walking in and around the town. The town itself lies on small plane hill and is the most peaceful in northern Myanmar. Being isolated area, the region is rich in biodiversity-flora and fauna and it’s the least visited area by the tourist.
Day 3: Putao-upper Shangaung – Mt Shangaung – Wasandum (B)
As soon as your breakfast is taken, you will start driving a country road of 17 km to upper Shangaung, and all the way through you will see people traveling on bull locked carts or on motor bikes, local houses and paddy fields. After being dropped off at Shangaung village, you will start climbing up the winding trail of Mt.Shangaung of 1,460 m will be a great challenging for you. But as you get to the peak you will have the panoramic view of Putao and your lunch will be served there. From the summit while the descending trail will lead you to Wasandum a beautiful Rawang village at 860 m, you may encounter with hornbills and gibbons. You may go down to Namro creek (5 minute walk from the village) to get washed up right after you have checked in the local house.
Approx: walking hour 8 plus one and half driving hours
Day 4: Wasandum – Awadum – Ziyadum (B)
You will be awoken at first light by the village cocks crowing repeatedly, which is the vital alarm for the villagers. Most of your route today will be cool, shady and relatively flat, except some up and down spots. As you proceed to Awadum which is well-known for walnut and persimmon and home to both Lisus and Rawangs, you will encounter the local greeting you with broad smile on the way through. After walking for half hour from Awadum, you will reach Kanlan suspension bridge and have your lunch there, but you will not cross the bridge, rather pass along the Namla creek for about 2 hours to get to Ziyadum at the altitude of 1068 m above sea level, the last frontier village for this route. You will notice that all the houses of the village, being built of wood, bamboo, rattan and bark, have spacious plot with wood or bamboo fence. The villagers mainly live on cultivation, hunting and foraging for medicinal insect called “Cordycept” in botanical term, which plays main role in Chinese alternative medicine.
Approxi: walking hour 5 – 7.
Day 5: Ziyadum (B)
You should not miss to enjoy the marvelous view of the snow-capped mountains surrounding, from the bank of Namlang creek early in the morning before the fog goes up. You may spend the whole day in exploring the fauna and flora in jungle its surrounding and the social activities of the villagers
Day 6: Ziyadum – Kharlang – Awadum – Wasandum (B)
Early in the morning, you are not supposed to miss having the spectacular view of the snowcappedmountains from the village and may feel like to explore the village before breakfast. When your group is ready you will take different route to Kharlang village. That route is relatively flat, shady and pleasant towalk, moreover there are some beautiful suspension bridges to be crossed. It will take you about 2 hours to reach Kharlang, a beautiful Rawang village in rural setting. You will leave the village by the side for Awadam crossing a long suspension bridge of Kharlang. You may take your lunch at a local house in Awadam which owns the only shop of the village and proceed to Wasandam to stay overnight.

Day 7: Wasundum – River camp Rafting along Namlang river (B)
After breakfast, walk down to Namro creek and reach to starting point for rafting. Before we leave, listen to well experienced river guide’s brief and demo with a practice. Enjoy the nature beauty of flora and fauna along the both side of icy creek while paddling down through the valley of Namlang by touching the chill water in cascading creek and pass one of the frontier lisu village called Namzae where you can see 3400 m high Mt, Loncrumadin snow-capped mountain which is just on the right side of the creek. Stop for Lunch on river bank and paddle down till we reach to river camp where we will stay overnight in tent on sandy beach.
Day 8: River camp – Putao Rafting (Car) (B)
Left the wilderness behind and returning to the clutches of human civilization. Today is your final destination of rafting through the more challenge and more enjoyable level of rapids, by passing the huge boulders and some waterfall in more gorge and narrow valley of deep canyons and then, listen your river guide’s very often commends. Lunch will be on convenience river bank and forward to Mulasidi village which is your ending point and you will be transfer to Putao by car .Overnight at Putao Guest House.
Day 9: Putao – Yangon (By Flight & Car) (B)
As you get up, you should not forget to visit local market to explore the local products and to buy some souvenirs for your dear ones. I strongly recommend that you should buy lovely tea cups crafted from bamboo and try the taste of local organic fruits. Depending on the flight arrival, your guide will transfer you to the airport by jeep for onward departure flight to Yangon. (15 minutes driving). Free and leisure on your own .Overnight at hotel in Yangon.
Day 10: Departure (By car) (B)
Breakfast at hotel and free and leisure on your own before you join your departure flight. Transfer you to Yangon International airport for the flight home. Finish your unforgettable Myanmar tour (Burma tour). Have safe flight home!

Trip Notes:
– Travelers are highly recommended to purchase Travel Insurance upon commitment of the booking in case of force majeure. Travel Insurance covers such costs as emergency and medical evacuation, hospital fees, property loss, etc. which could possibly happen during the trip.
– Rooms at hotels are available only from 1400 on arrival day till 1200 on departure date. A supplement will be added if early check-in or late check-out is desired.

– The balance is due 30 days prior to departure. If you fail to pay by the due date we reserve the right to cancel your booking and retain your deposit.
– If you make a booking less than 30 days prior to departure, full payment is due within 48 hours.
Cancellation: Any cancellations must be made in witting.
– Cancellation fees apply to all cancelled reservations. The fee is determined by the date written cancellation received by Vietnam Travel and Cruise.

– Cancellation at 30 or less days – 100% of total booking cost

Claims and refunds for unused services
No refunds or exchanges can be made in respect of accommodation, meals, sightseeing tours, transport or any other services, which are included in the tour prices but not utilized by the client.
